The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 paid games on unified platforms in Germany. Here’s a closer look at how Minecraft, Bloons TD 6, My Child Lebensborn, MONOPOLY: The Board Game, and Farming Simulator 20 performed.

Minecraft from Mojang showed a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $104K at the end of June and dropping to around $67K by the end of September. The game's weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 32K in early September before decreasing to 23K by the quarter's end. Active users similarly saw a slight decrease from 766K to 670K over the same period.

Bloons TD 6 by Ninja Kiwi experienced growth in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue rose from $15.8K at the end of June to $29.2K by the end of September. Downloads also showed an upward trend, starting at 2.2K and peaking at 2.7K in early September. Active users saw a modest increase, ending the quarter at around 12.1K.

My Child Lebensborn from Sarepta Studio AS had a significant spike in revenue and downloads in early July, with revenue reaching nearly $60K and downloads peaking at 50.4K. However, both metrics declined sharply afterward, with weekly revenue falling to approximately $1.7K and downloads to 5.2K by the end of September. Active users also dropped from a peak of 70.3K in early July to about 12.2K by the quarter's end.

MONOPOLY: The Board Game by Marmalade Game Studio showed a steady performance in revenue, with a slight increase from $6.5K at the end of June to nearly $9.9K by the end of September. Downloads saw a gradual rise, peaking at 2.1K in mid-September. Active users also increased, starting at 6.4K and ending the quarter at around 9.8K.

Farming Simulator 20 from GIANTS Software GmbH maintained a relatively stable performance. Weekly revenue hovered around $5.3K to $7.6K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained consistent, with slight fluctuations, peaking at 862 in late September. Active users showed a modest increase from 2.9K to 3.4K by the end of the quarter.
